Designed specifically for the powerful OXVA Velocity kit, the Unipro series is engineered for extreme cloud production and maximum flavour saturation. These large coils feature massive wicking ports to effortlessly absorb thick high VG liquids.
While the original XLIM series uses closed pods, the XLIM C kit allows you to change the coils manually to save money. These push fit mesh coils are designed for exceptional mouth to lung performance.
Matching your e-liquid to your chosen coil resistance is the most important rule in vaping.
If you are using low resistance sub ohm coils like the Unipro 0.15 Ohm or the Unicoil 0.2 Ohm, you must use thick, high VG Shortfills. These large coils require thick liquid to vaporize correctly. Putting thin liquid in these coils will cause immediate leaking.
If you are using high resistance mouth to lung coils like the XLIM C 0.8 Ohm or the Unicoil 1.0 Ohm, you must use thin 50/50 e-liquids such as Nic Salts or traditional 10ml freebase juice. Using thick sub ohm liquid in these small coils will instantly burn the cotton wick.
How long do OXVA coils typically last?
A genuine OXVA mesh coil will usually last between one and two weeks depending on your vaping habits. If you use heavily sweetened e-liquids like bar juices or dessert flavours, the sugar will caramelize faster and you may need to replace the coil sooner.
How do I know when it is time to change my coil?
You will know it is time to install a new coil when your e-liquid starts tasting dull, the device produces significantly less vapour, or you experience a harsh, burnt taste on the inhale.
How do I prime a new OXVA coil?
Before firing your device, you must prime the new coil. Simply place a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed white cotton visible through the wicking holes on the side of the coil. Push the coil into your pod, fill the pod with liquid, and wait at least ten minutes before taking your first puff. This guarantees the cotton is fully saturated and prevents a dry hit.
Why is my OXVA pod leaking from the bottom?
Leaking is almost always caused by using the wrong e-liquid thickness for your specific coil, or by a coil that has completely burned out. Ensure the coil is pushed firmly into the pod and check that you are using 50/50 liquid for MTL coils and 70/30 liquid for DTL coils.
Can I clean my old vape coils with water?
No. Rinsing a burnt coil with water will not restore the cotton inside. Once the cotton has degraded or burned, the coil must be thrown away and replaced with a fresh one.
